January 2015 | Lavender Mint | KCK Soapery

This batch is for a friend who asked me to make a lavender essential oil soap for her.
I added a hint of mint into the mix.

As I was going through my facebook notifications, a soaping group posted a picture of a swirl I haven't tried.  So attached to this post is a video of my attempt.
Colors used were lavender, yellow, pink, blue and white.

I almost got the technique, will need to pour the colored soap batter thinner next time.  Above picture was taken right after I swirled the top.  It's wet soap.  Ingredients include Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Mango Butter, Shea Butter, Palm Oil and Castor Oil.

Above is picture three days after, dry enough to remove from the mold.  Colors remained true to how it was when poured.

Thank you for dropping by!
