Another giveaway packaging I found on etsy.com that I really liked and just have to try. I am still not sure what type of paper the etsy store used. They tied the ends loosely with something that looked like a thin rope. I modified it by using gift wrapping tissue paper, added a ribbon and a tag.
These giveaways contain a variety of all of my first batches of soap bars cut into three. More soaps already cut but still waiting to cure. Then I will play with the packaging for those as well. The soaps are about 1 to 2.5 oz. each depending on the original size of the bar and how equally I cut them.
Thank you very much for entrusting me with this. Learned a lot about soaping through all these batches and still have a lot more to learn and experiment with.
That turned out so pretty, what a nice gift idea!
ReplyDeleteThank you Cee. The picture I saw on etsy were very sharp looking. Still need more searching for better materials.
DeleteI'ld be delighted if I got soap as a give-away!! And I hope you get lots of positive feedback on these bars.
ReplyDeleteI am currently experimenting with wax paper that I get from e-bay...I like it as it is soft enough to fold but doesn't tear too easily and, although not transparent, you do get a hint of the soap inside.

Thank you Jo. I sure hope they will all like the soaps. I will play with other materials as well. Maybe together we can find the best for this kind of wrapping.
