November 2014 | Coconut Laundry Soap | KCK Soapery

Made this for a friend who makes handmade laundry detergents.

Made only with Coconut Oil, lye and water.  It's the simplest batch I have ever made.

From mommypotamus

 Laundry Soap (1% superfat)

All amounts are by weight

33 oz. coconut oil, 76 degree
5.9 oz. lye (NaOH)
12 oz. water
0.5 - 1 oz. essential oil (optional)

The batch hardened pretty quick.  I should have listened to mommypotamus and cut it earlier.

I tried out some of my molds, just to see how they look and I am pretty happy with how the details were all showing.

These birds would be perfect for weddings and anniversaries.

    Happy snow men.

    I love these dolphins.

      Thank you for stopping by!
