This batch was made with lavender essential oil blended with baby clean fragrance oil. Ingredients used were my usual coconut oil, olive oil, rice bran oil, palm oil, mango butter and castor oil.
I lined the mold with a fondant mat.
Colors used were deep purple and titanium dioxide.
I can't help myself and had to sprinkle some iridescent glitters on top.
I did not put this batch in the oven or freezer. Just let it sit for 24 hours. Imagine my excitement and anticipation on how the soap would look like once I pulled the fondant mat off the soap loaf.
I am happy with how the fondant designs were imprinted onto the sides and bottom of the soap.
Since there are imprinted designs on the soap, I decided to just use my plain straight cut for the bars.
Thank you very much for stopping by.
Love the fondant mat look to the sides and bottom.... I have a mat just waiting to be used - must go and dig it out of the 'pending' pile. Yet again, a lovely soap - well done

I saw a youtube video of another soapmaker who did this technique all over the soap and it does look beautiful and definitely elegant Jo. We definitely have to try it.
