Since hunting season is just around the corner the hubby requested for an unscented handmade soap for hunters. Today, I made this unscented camouflage soap for our game seekers. This contains Coconut oil, Olive oil, Rice Bran oil, Palm oil, Mango butter and Castor oil.
I cut the soap straight and crinkle. The hubby likes the look of crinkle cut. I have both cutters so I cut them both ways.
Colors used were titanium dioxide, activated charcoal, woodland green and cappuccino mica. This batch was made using a soaping process without waiting for the lye/water solution to come to lower temperature. Usually I soap at 100 degrees, some soapers soap at room temperature and this time this was hot. It did turn out and I am happy with the colors.
Happy Hunting!

That looks really great!
ReplyDeleteThank you soapsudsations. I did nail the colors in this batch. I love looking at your soaps too. You are one of my inspirations.
DeleteFantastic camo.....love the colours, & thank you for the video. Usually I prefer straight cut soap but on this occasion I like the crinkle cut better - either way, this looks a great soap!

Thank you Jo. I am liking both crinkle and straight so I now have both cuts with some of my batches.
