December 2014 | Lavender Mint | KCK Soapery

Hidden "in-the-pot" swirl scented with lavender mint fragrance oil.

Colors used were woodland green, titanium dioxide for white and the right most color was actually purple in person.

Ingredients included Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Palm Oil, Mango Butter and Castor Oil.

Made the "in-the-pot" swirl technique of designing the soap.

Gave the colors one big swirl using spatula.

Poured the swirled batter into the mold.

Covered the swirled batter with white, just because I love doing hidden swirls.

Poured leftover colors to design and texture the top.

Using the chopstick, I made this swirl making sure I don't disturb the lower layer.  Sprinkled a little glitter on top.

After 36 hours, it came out of the mold just perfect.

Thank you very much!!!

  1. Hi Glynith, these look lovely, the fo sounds fabulous & I really like the delicate 'hidden' swirl - purple and green were the very first colours I used and they are still one of my favourite combos. Great job. Jo

    1. Thank you Jo. I always have fun with hidden swirls. The anticipation on how it will turn out makes soaping fun for me. I do love purple and green combination too and I do it every chance I get especially with lavender soaps.
