August 2018 | Lemongrass Verbena | KCK Soapery

Lemongrass Verbena fragrance oil is described as an enticing blend of citrusy refreshing lemongrass and leafy green verbena blended with a hint soft vanilla.

I added yellow and white to give a little contrast to the fragrance oil which contains a bit of vanillin and thus cured into a shade of tan.

Notice the tan!

It is now even more prominent but with the contrast it is ok and the whole batch still smells enticing.

Thank you!

April 2018 | Real Estate Cupcake Giveaways | KCK Soapery

What do you guys/ladies think of this packaging?

This handmade soap is scented with Lemongrass Verbena.
I added pineapple and seashells to these cupcakes designed for a real estate agent friend.

Blue, some pink, yellow, and white to color this batch.

Usual ingredients: Coconut oil, Olive oil, Rice bran oil, Palm oil, Castor oil and Mango butter

For the cupcake part, I dropped the colors into the pot and gave it a little swirl.

Poured into the mold.

Lined the remaining colors in a cling wrap, then put into the piping bag.

Enjoy!

January 2015 | Handmade Soap Dishes | KCK Soapery

BT soap dishes handmade by a friend and a local pottery artist.  She designed some sample soap dishes specially for KCK Soaps.  The dishes have holes which would allow water to drain off the soaps.  Simply Perfect for handmade soaps.

Please check them out and send me a message. They are now available individually or as set with the soaps. Just let me know. We can also custom design according to your desire of colors and shapes, just let us know what you prefer!

This leaf handmade soap dish in green goes perfectly with the Hidden Ivy.

This glittery blue dish is just the right one for the Heart Swirl.

June 2014 | Lemongrass Verbena - Palm Free Soap | KCK Soapery

So proud of my mom's third batch of soap.  Told my mom to just have fun and look at what she made.  A beautiful fragrant soap loaf.   Each bar has their own swirl pattern.

Picture above was taken after I finished playing with the design of the top.  I can't resist and has to play with the batter every now and then.  I thought I've mixed the white and yellow so much that the color will just be a very muted yellow.  Colorants use were neon laser lemon dye powder and titanium dioxide.  So I oven processed the batch which usually gives me a brighter color.

This picture was taken after the mold was taken out of the oven.

With the help of an online soap calculator we came up with this recipe.  Coconut oil, Olive oil, Rice Bran oil, Mango butter, Sweet Almond oil, Avocado oil and Castor oil.

Fragranced with Lemongrass Verbena and the hubby said I should always have a stock of this on hand.  The fragrance is described as an enticing blend of citrusy, refreshing lemongrass and leafy green verbena blended with a hint soft vanilla.  Sooo yummy...

After about 20 hours, I removed the loaf off of the mold and it was still a little bit soft I dented one side of the loaf with my fingers.  But it was fine when I cut the rest of the loaf.

I also sprinkled some iridescent sparkles and love the effect it gave to the bars.

Happy Soaping!
