August 2018 | Lemongrass Verbena | KCK Soapery

Lemongrass Verbena fragrance oil is described as an enticing blend of citrusy refreshing lemongrass and leafy green verbena blended with a hint soft vanilla.

I added yellow and white to give a little contrast to the fragrance oil which contains a bit of vanillin and thus cured into a shade of tan.

Notice the tan!

It is now even more prominent but with the contrast it is ok and the whole batch still smells enticing.

Thank you!

February 2018 | Puppy Love | KCK Soapery

Scented with a blend of violet, gardenia, jasmine with fresh grapefruit, vanilla, and white woods.

Another goat's milk soap with my recently concocted recipe that includes Coconut oil, olive oil, rice bran oil, palm oil, shea butter, mango butter, and castor oil. I thought of just using activated charcoal for black and titanium dioxide for white for this batch.

Once saponified and at the right trace, I divided the batter into two.

Made a zebra swirl.

Covered the top with white.

Drizzled the leftover black batter.

Made a swirl with chopstick on top.

Out of the mold.

Cut and ready for you to enjoy!

Thanks for stopping by!

January 2018 | Fall In Love | KCK Soapery

These will be ready to complete your Valentine's Day decoration in two more weeks.  Another batch of Goat's milk soap.  This one is scented with a charming blend of blackberry, jasmine, lemon, vanilla, and musk fragrance oil called "Falling in Love".

Ingredients include coconut oil, olive oil, rice bran oil, palm oil, mango butter, shea butter and castor oil.

Poured the main color which is white.

Made a red line in the middle.

Alternating white and red only in the middle.

Covered the top with white and drizzled some red randomly.

Drew lines on every dollop of red.

Added small hearts on one side of the soap loaf.

Out of the mold.

Ready to be enjoyed.

Thank you!
