August 2018 | Fenugreek Soap | KCK Soapery

These handmade soaps were made exclusively for a friend Jacque.  She was told about "Fenugreek" and its benefits and she decided to come to me to make her vision into a reality.

These were made using ingredients provided by Jacque which include the following Coconut oil, Palm oil, Olive oil, Castor oil and Sweet Almond oil, and Fenugreek herb.  The batch is unscented since we wanted to see how it smells naturally for now.

This was my first time to hear about the herb! I then did my own research and found that it is very good for the skin and hair as well as other health benefits. Here is an article from webmd. The only drawback is that it is not recommended for pregnant women since it may induce contraction. However, it is good for breastfeeding mothers who want to increase milk production.

Some countries use it as medicinal herb to help with ailments, others use it for cooking, drink it as tea, and so many others.

If you would like to try these soap, just contact Jacque.  She have all the soap with her.
Thank you!

January 2018 | Kaolin Clay Unscented Goat's Milk Soap | KCK Soapery

This is the debut of my goat's milk soap.
My very first Goat's milk soap.

Hopefully you guys will like it so I can make more of this creamy soap.  A friend asked for goat's milk soap a few months ago.  So I concocted a recipe which include goat's milk and shea butter.  This is very natural without added fragrance or color.

This recipe include the following, Coconut oil, olive oil, rice bran oil, palm oil, mango butter, shea butter and castor oil.  The container with white liquid above is the goat's milk.

I added kaolin clay at the last minute after noticing that my soap is not as white as I wanted.  Kaolin clay is natural and very beneficial to the skin while giving a white color to the soap.

Poured the batter into the mold.

Had to give it some texture.  I used spoon to lift up the sides and sprinkle them on top.

Out of the mold.

Cut and ready to give you that creamy and soothing bath or shower.

Thank you for dropping by!

November 2016 | Camouflage 2016 | KCK Soapery

It has been over a year since I started working at the hospital again. Now my schedule makes it possible for me to get back in to designing soaps.  I missed and realized that soaping is something I needed to do.  So here goes the first soap I made for this year.

I decided to do camouflage soap for my first design since I made quite a lot of them when I was doing a lot of soap making.

This batch contains Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Palm Oil, Mango Butter and Castor Oil.
It is unscented.

I used the spoon technique and just alternately spoon the different colors into the mold.  Colors used were matte green, black, white and brown.

I am quite pleased with the result.

Thank you for stopping by!

October 2014 | Unscented October Camo | KCK Soapery

The hubby is running low on his camo soap supply.  So I made another batch of unscented soaps for the hunters out there.

Same ingredients as the last few batch.  I am very happy with the recipe and how the soaps perform in our shower.

Happy Soaping...

I did not make any video for this as I already had a few camo soap videos and I just want to make this batch and be done with it.   I am a little bit time constraint these days and the setting up of the camera takes away time I could use for measuring, mixing and others.
