Yellow mica, black activated charcoal, and white titanium dioxide (using the same oils).
Mother's Love fragrance oil is a slightly sweet and innocent scent that includes a blend of peonies, hyacinth, day lilies, apple blossoms, and soft bergamot.
A friend suggested a corona virus inspired soap. This is what I came up with.
Colors used were:
- yellow, orange and pink mica for bright and vibrant corona virus
- white, titanium dioxide for, hopefully, peace soon
- black for all the chaos spreading around the world.
I used "Fresh Linen" fragrance oil which is a clean accord with soft subtle back notes of powder and musk. Notes include jasmine, lilac, peony, Egyptian musk and French vanilla.
My vision for this batch was a rain drop in the middle but the soap batter got hard fast and did not behave the way I needed it to give me the look I wanted. It still has a unique look which I like very much though.
Fragrance oil used is described as a fresh and earthy mix of basil, green leaf, ozone, lily, rose,
jasmine, violet, sandalwood, and tonka bean.
Same usual recipe olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, shea butter, castor oil, and mango butter.
Activated charcoal for black, titanium dioxide for white, and blue mica.
My camera ran out of memory in the middle of my designing. You still get to see most of the pouring though.
Cool Water fragrance oil used in this batch is a combination of lavender, jasmine, oakmoss, musk, and sandalwood; Scent is Musky citrus, with light florals.
Using my usual recipe for this handmade soap which includes Olive oil, Coconut oil, Palm oil, Shea Butter, Castor oil and Mango Butter.
Fragrance oil is described as a mix of lemon, bergamot, cool mint, lavender, green accord, sandalwood, cedar wood, amber, and musk. It smells just like walking into a barbershop!
This batch was inspired by my hubby who love coffee and enjoys roasting his very own gourmet green coffee beans. This was made using the recipe I found in "LovinSoap". I changed the patchouli and orange essential oils to rosemary and peppermint essential oils for this batch, however, I used the same main recipe in Lovin soap. Surprisingly, it turned out just as expected!
Instead of water, I used brewed coffee from Costa Rica from the hubby's supplies. The coffee grounds for some exfoliation and some coffee beans for the top.
